This past Saturday I headed to Hyannis, MA with Kim. We picked up all the numbers for our friends and then waited for their arrival. The expo at this race is not too impressive, but you can sometimes get some good sale clothes.
For dinner, we went to this place called Di Parma. It was delicious! We all got a gorgonzola bread with I think it was either pecans or walnuts on top. We got endless salad, and then our meals finally came. I could barely eat half of my plate! I got chicken cacciatore. It was a bit garlic-y, so be careful not to expect any romantic kisses after this meal! Luckily, it was just the girls and we watched Date Night. Hilarious!
Sunday morning, I couldn’t really sleep. I think because we went to bed early and I am so used to getting up at 5 AM! I tried to sleep for longer, and made it to 7 AM. I got up and hung out with the other ladies and relaxed. We all agreed that we’d rather just watch tv haha. But we got our breakfast ready. I had oatmeal with banana in it.
We took a picture pre-race. Sorry, no post race picture, we were all wet, cold, and on our runners high!
