In the past I’ve used Hal Higdon’s Intermediate training programs which worked pretty well. I’ve been considering switching to the Advanced I training for Boston Marathon 2012. There are a few things different about it:
- Marathon pace runs on Saturdays
- Long runs on Sundays (I would typically do long runs on Saturdays last time and rest on Sunday)
- Thursdays are tempos/hills/speed days. In the past I would do tempos on Mondays and speed/hills on Thursdays.

I have been eating cereal as my breakfast these days. I never used to be enough for me but because my mileage hasn’t been high my appetite hasn’t been as big. Well, I am going to start working out more now-so I figured I’d being back my oats!
Up today is oats with strawberries, blackberries, and a some milk…it looks like a soupy mess but it’s yummy!

Yesterday I didn’t run because I wasn’t feeling so well. My eyes have been really bothering me and I felt dizzy all day! I think it was due to me not changing my contacts as frequent as I should.
