Mary is off to San Diego!

My friend and Gamma Phi Beta Starlet sister, Vanessa, is running her FIRST marathon this Sunday so she is taking Mary the Bear with her!  Here is a pic of her after running the BAA 5k!

She is running the San Diego Rock ‘n Roll marathon and fundraising for the Mission of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA).

Korean Chap Chae

After my Korean dinner with my girls, I wanted MORE.  So I decided to try to make some Chap Chae.  Laura and Stacie said it was pretty easy, and it was!  I found a recipe on the Steamy Kitchen.

(Mine didn’t look as good as Jaden’s picture above…)

I like to sit on balls

I always wanted to bring my exercise ball in and sit on it to strengthen while I work, but never did. Theeeeen, I did.  As you may know, my hips hurt and they usually hurt after sitting at work for long periods of times.  I thought it sitting on the exercise ball may help my hip soreness. Crack, grind and pop!

I was doing my PT exercises last night and when I got the clamshell part, I immediately heard my joints crack and pop. It was a gross grinding noise that was going on. I pretty much went to my laptop right away to do some Googling. Snapping and popping didn’t seem like a good thing and looked like it was joint related.
