Congrats to all my Run to Remember runners! This race was to honor all fallen Boston law enforcement in the line of duty. I’m so proud of everyone who completed the race!
Matt ran this as his FIRST half marathon and is getting pumped for his first MARATHON in 2013! I’m hoping we run the same one in the spring so that we can all get pumped up together! Dave wants to run one too! I was slightly bummed he had already was showered and dressed when I saw him because part of the awesomeness of racing is getting sweaty glory pictures! Next time Matt…next time, I will get a picture of you all sweaty and gross!
Sara ran her second half marathon and hit a PR! She also enjoyed her watermelon beer and fried pickles from Beer Works that she was craving!
My “little sister” Kate from my sorority also ran the race and rocked it of course!
My DailyMile ladies also ran! Sarah (left) paced Lena (right) to PR and get a 7:32 pace for her last mile! Holy cow! You ladies rock!
There were many more runners out there that I know, and I’m so proud of you! I have to admit, it was kind of tough seeing everyone run when I really want to. But it inspired me to keep strengthening and get my body in shape so that I can run! When I got home, I was good and did my PT workout and a few other exercises.
