The Chili Cook Off!

As some of you may have seen, my work had a chili cook off and I was a JUDGE!

There were three categories:  Veggie, Mild and Hot!  There were SO many chilis and I had to eat them ALL!  My fave category was definitely the hot!  There was a little rivalry going on there, as one of the guys is always runner up.  Was he going to win it this year?  We would see!  The other hot entrant hit me in the head the other day with paintballs…soooo does he have a chance-no! Just kidding-I was fair and I will let anyone hit me in the head with paintballs because it’s fun!

So you may be wondering who won from that hot category with the rivalry.  The guy who has been coming in second year after year!  He not only got the “Best Hot Chili” but he also got “People’s Choice”.  He was pretty pumped and we were all excited for him!  I actually need to ask him for his recipe…this could be a great recipe for when a bunch of people are over!

And the “Judge’s Choice” award went to Gretchen!  She had a Kan-tex-achussetts chili.  Her chili had some great flavors infused, one of which being cinnamon.  I loved the aftertaste.  Way to go girl!

Does your work have fun activities? 

We have a group called “Project Fun” that organizes fun events like the holiday parties, mini golf tournaments through the office, and things like the chili cook-off!
