This weekend was so relaxing and fun. My friend Sam and I headed to our friend Morgan’s house in Maine for her bachelorette party. We arrived and did some sunbathing and catching up. Eventually, we grilled out and had delicious strawberry basil drinks with vodka. They tasted so amazing and I am definitely going to have to make them again sometime.
Later in the afternoon we had an adventure out on the boat and then some more food (duh!). It was a pretty relaxing bachelorette party, and I really liked it! I enjoyed spending time with some friends and meeting some amazing people that were a lot of fun to hang out with. I’m pretty pumped to hang out with them again at Morgan’s big day! I didn’t get home too late yesterday, so Dave and I ended up going to the Wrentham Outlets. I found some amazing “party” pants (as my friends would call them), which basically means fun, bright pants. I am going to be wearing them this week so I’ll have to post a picture about them! In the meantime, my current party pants will do!
So what’s up with my hips? Since I’ve started to be more strict about my Ibuprofen taking, my hips have started to feel a lot better! Since my hips usually hurt less during the weekends, I am still resting because I want to see how my hips are after a day of sitting all day at work. I’m hoping that my pain will be gone for a few consecutive days and I might start to do more strength. I gave myself a break from doing strength because I think my hips needed a complete break from doing anything for a few days. It’s good that I booked myself with some dinner plans both tonight and last night so that it can keep me distracted from wanting to run. Tonight I’m meeting up with Vanessa who just ran the Rock ‘n Roll San Diego Marathon and brought Mary along with her!
