I was a little grumpy when I woke up this cloudy morning after a bunch of rain had fallen. My piriformis had started to act up and it brought back bad memories of how bad my hips/butt could. I remember that burning sensation and how I hated sitting at work. I was also a bit jealous that Dave went for a run.
But then I got up and decided to do the P90X Core Synergistics workout. I had already tried the Ab RipperX, so why not give another workout a try.
I didn’t have any weights, but I figured I should take it easy anyways since I had no idea what I was getting myself into with this workout.
Well…I loved it! My piriformis was feeling it at times, but I made sure to adjust my position accordingly to avoid aggravating it too much. As I was doing the workout, I started to feel a little more positive. I thought, I am not very strong. I can run, but they use all the same muscles. I am going to really build my strength overall and become so much stronger for when I get back into running.
When I was done doing my workout, I peeked outside and the sun had come out for me to enjoy a nice hearty breakfast by the lake.
After breakfast, Dave and I hit the towels and got some sun! I’m glad I took off my grumpy pants so I could enjoy this beautiful day! So you just have to remember to keep your head up and the sun will always come out!
