Matchy Friends and Minty Snack Attack!

July 26, 2012

You know what I always love?  When a friend and I end up wearing almost the same thing! Yesterday my friend Erin and I both decided it was white t-shirt day and navy skirt and found out the other person was thinking the exact same way!  PS…Erin is cuddly, so I like her! :)

Erin was helpful yesterday because as I was eating my cinnamon raison bagel with peanut butter, I apparently got distracted by work and my bagel flipped and fell right onto my skirt.  Fail!  I wiped off what I could and used a wet paper towel but it still was looking a bit shabby.  Erin to the rescue!  She had a tide pen that helped make my skirt look almost fully normal!

Later in the day I decided to snack on a little less messy of a snack…some fruit salad with mint.  This is a delicious favorite of mine that I discovered at one of my running club long runs!  SOOOO refreshing!

I am off to get my last HPV shot…boooo it makes my arm hurt for the rest of the day!  I was trying to get up really early for a swim before my shot, but my legs were so sore and I was exhausted from getting up earlier than normal this week.  I slept in!  Sleep is important!

Do you and your friends ever end up matching?

Have you ever dropped food all over yourself at work?

I actually spilled a full mug of tea all of myself one day.  I had placed the tea mug between my arms while I was typing (why?  Don’t ask!) and my coworker came over, said, “Jess?” And then I turned around swiping my mug and spilling it all over my lap!  Everyone just stared at me in shock.  This was when I first started working there, so they didn’t know whether to laugh or to help me, so they just stood there.  Finally one coworker ran and got paper towels and I cleaned up.  For some strange reason, I had an extra pair of jeans at work!  Thank goodness! haha
