Yoki Sushi in Central Square

Last night when Dave and I were on our way home from the Color Run packet pick up, we got on a T with NO air conditioning and it was packed because the T’s were running with delays. It was miserable. I was sweating like a pig. We decided to get off the T early and try to find food around Central Square. As we were walking, we saw this new Japanese and Sushi restaurant Yoki. They also had a sign that said everything was 20% off. BINGO!  We love seaweed salad so this was a must.  It was a huge serving and came in an edible dish!  We got the spicy scallop maki, Idaho maki, futo maki and the good time maki.  I think Dave and I both really liked the spicy scallop maki best.  Everything tasted fresh and there was a wide variety to choose from.

But the best part might have been the huge candy bowl that they had at the hostesses desk.  As I approached the candy bowl giddy with excitement, one of the hostesses said, “There are Starbursts in there.”  I immediately asked where and she helped me dig some out!  I turned around really quickly to go find Dave who had already exited the building and almost knocked out some guy!  I apologized and he just kind of laughed.  I think he knew I was WAAYYY too excited about this candy!

Dave and I thought the service, food, and prices were great.  Definitely a place we want to check out again!
