At home workout and ankle update!

I did the Shape.com Ultimate Home Workout this morning, some stretching (my favorite pigeon pose, happy baby and downward dog) and planks. I was tempted to do some more yoga but I didn’t want to put too much stress on my ankle. My ankle is doing a lot better. I walked around and stood all day yesterday at Lollapalooza and my foot only started to hurt late in the day. I am hoping to get back to some more fitness workouts this week and maybe next week start some short mileage run/walking!

After my workout, we all made some waffles, eggs, oatmeal and more to fuel for day two of Lollapalooza. I was pretty hungry so I forgot to take a picture before I cleaned off the plate!

I’ll have to recap you all on the music festival and the wedding later this week but for now it’s time to head over to Lollapalooza again! This time I’m going to wear sneakers in hopes that I’ll be a little more comfortable later in the night. :)   I am pimped out for a run or good workout, but Lolla is pretty much like a workout standing all day and walking all over the place!

What is your favorite big breakfast?

I haven’t had waffles in a while so this was a nice change! One of my favorite big breakfasts are scrambled eggs with lots of veggies in it and some homemade home fries. I love to put ketchup and hot sauce on both my eggs and potatoes!
