Last night I did the Jillian Michael’s Yoga Meltdown Level 2. 30 day yoga challenge-you gots nothing on me!! I love that the poses are getting easier-it means I’m improving my practice! I may have to get a few more DVDs for if I can make it to a class so that I can mix it up.
After a quick yoga sesh I had to hurry back to get a passport photo and head to my hometown to get my birth certificate. I may be traveling for work and need my passport ASAP! My old passport expired in 2005 and I didn’t bother renewing it!
I went to get my passport photos taken at CVS. I was actually pretty happy with my first picture but the woman said that I needed to take it again because my shoulders weren’t straight and my eyes were too small-I needed to open them more! I literally laughed and said, “Well that’s how my eyes are!” So the woman looked at me like I wasn’t telling the truth and said that I should not smile so that maybe we can see them better. I felt really awful about not smiling in my picture so I semi smiled without showing teeth. The picture didn’t come out so well but I figured this is going to be a long process if I try to actually get one that I like. But maybe they just want you to look sad or like you just had taken your mug shot in government photos because I sure looked sad in my Certificate of Naturalization!
I ended up getting home pretty late and am going to skip that morning swim that I was looking forward to since I have to run to the passport agency to expedite my passport. I brought my swim gear though so I can try to go after work. I bet the pool will be empty so it may be a good time anyways!
HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!
Do you have a passport? Where was the last place you traveled?
The last place I traveled to was Canada apparently. I don’t know why though and don’t remember what I did there!
Do you have any favorite yoga DVDs or routines?!
I like Jillian Michael’s Yoga Meltdown, but I want a different style of Yoga to do too.

This is so funny. My Dad travels all the time for work and he had to go to Seattle for an eye scan so he could bypass the regular lines for travel and they told him to open his eyes wider and he said the same thing you did (he’s Korean and Filipino). I started yoga about a year ago and I love it! I don’t know of any DVDs but I’ll be on the lookout.
I'm going on a borrowing spree at the Boston Public Library–going to pick up Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown, Bryan Kest Power Yoga, and Yoga Body Burn!
