A glimpse of my future!

Dave and I were watching TV the other night and a commercial came on that made Dave break out into laughter and say, “That is going to be you!!!!” It’s pretty much a mom who exercises as she does her household chores. Well, here it is:

He may be right…but at least he knows what he is getting into dating me!

He also has accepted the fact that I will probably get him to try some other endurance events and eventually go sky diving with me someday. For some time he swore he wouldn’t run a marathon-but who got him to run a marathon? That’s right…me!

He admitted that he may want to try a half Ironman someday which really got me excited.  The only way I think I would do another HIM is if I was working part time or if Dave trained with me. It was just too much work for me to keep a balance between everything and poor Dave had to suffer by not seeing me or seeing me but in my grumpy tired state. If he trained with me, we could spend time together and get tired and grumpy together!

But it will be some time before we get into any half Ironman training.  For now, we are going to give tennis a try and also maybe hit the driving ranges so that I don’t fail too much at my company golf tournament! Then later today I’ll get some yoga in for the 30 day yoga challenge!
