I want a scooter and taking it to a new level…black light yoga with Goldie Kaufenberg!

Last night I stopped by Dave’s office after work so we could head home together.  Dave showed me some of their test set ups, one of which involved putting some sensors on a motorized scooter.  Dave let me test out the scooter and I felt like the little pig who screamed “wee” all the way home like on those TV commercials!

Once I got my share of giggles on the scooter, we got dinner and finally got home.  Dave still wanted to go for a run so I got in a SECOND 30 minute yoga session for the day!  I didn’t do anything too intense, just one of my go-to’s- Tiffany Cruikshank’s Yin Quick Fix Flow.  It was needed because my hips still get tight after sitting all day and the class allows me to really sink into a pose.

For tonight’s yoga session, I am making it out to a studio class, but not just any old class…a BLACK LIGHT YOGA class at Back Bay Yoga!  It sounds awesome and rumor has it that Goldie Kaufenberg is an amazing yoga instructor!

I am hoping to also get in 2 miles before the yoga class, but we’ll see if its pouring out or not…I didn’t bring extra clothes to change into and I don’t thing it will be appropriate to come into yoga class sopping wet!

Have you ever done black light yoga?  Any unique type of yoga?

I have done aerial yoga and also hip hop yoga!

Do you get to do strange fun things at your job?

I love my “Project Fun” activities that my work has.  Speaking of…we have our work golf tournament coming up!  I also just love my coworkers because they make it fun.  I feel like my entire engineering department is a family in a way!  We’ve got the crazy uncle, the cool cousin, etc.  (haha I just put that their so I can keep them guessing who I think is what stereotype!)
