After a long meeting for work this week, we had a short hour break before we met for dinner. I was debating taking a nap or not but I decided to do a workout instead. I had already done my yoga workout in the morning so I wanted to try something different.
I had just downloaded the Nike Training app on my iPhone and thought it might be the perfect chance to give it a try. The app allows you to pick what level of fitness you are at and then the type of workout you want to do. As you progress, you can earn rewards to show how much you have improved.
For my first workout I chose the intermediate level for toning. From there you can pick your workout and I chose the “Flex Machine” which thought it was great! The move that killed me the most was the crazy Ivan. My abs were burning and I was anxiously waiting for it to be over! But I kept moving with the help of my music-a nice feature of this app is that you can pick a workout playlist (I was craving a little Naked and Famous).
I wasn’t actually sure how I would like this app. I didn’t know if I’d get a good workout from it, but it was a good quality workout in a short amount of time-perfect for when I need to fit in something quick.
I am getting slightly overwhelmed-in a good way-with all the ways I can stay fit WITHOUT my gym! There is way too little time for all the activities and workouts that I want to try!
