Running

As you can tell by my blog name, I LOVE running. BUT I didn’t always love running.  I only became addicted once I graduated college.  In the meantime, the only way you could get me to run was for the ice cream truck or if I had to during volleyball drills!

I love inspiring others to run and learning from others.  My blog helps me do so!  Below are ways you can hopefully get inspired and also let me know what your thoughts on things are!

  • I know this photo isn't the prettiest but the food is pretty darn tasty!  It's @seriouseats mushroom risotto made in the #instantpot!  I've been seriously addicted to my @instantpotofficial ever since its first use! (this is NOT sponsored!) I'm always on the go and weeknights can result in takeout if I don't food prep.   • Running isn’t always easy for me.  I was going to try to sleep longer and get my workout in after work but I find it easier for me to make excuses after work to not get my workout in.  I forced myself to get dressed and head to @republicfitness so I could head out for my run bright and early!  The hardest part is really just getting out there! Successful 5x800m done!

  • #Throwback to last weekend's race hopefuly the last time I need the cold weather gear!  After the #halfmarathon, I asked #CoachCEnger about working on my hill strength 🏋🏻‍♀️ She's going to make notes on my longer runs where I should try to find hillier routes to run.  I might not hit the pace goals but that's ok--that run will be more focused on building my hill strength.  Wishing all you #bostonmarathon runners good luck on your hills!  #Heartbreakhill has some of the best crowds, so use it to power through it!  And don't get TOO excited on the start downhill (although it's so difficult!). 💙💛🦄
