I still sometimes can’t believe that I gave up coffee for a little while not just because of the caffeine but also because I love the flavor.
It was getting later in the afternoon last Sunday and I hadn’t had a cup of coffee yet. I was getting a bit grumpy so Dave decided to find a new place to try. He found something online that said Barismo in Arlington had some good coffee.

Last Friday after my Pure Barre Boston class, Margaret and I met our friend Sara at Pavement Coffee House for some breakfast. This location used to be called Espresso Royale Caffe (ERC) and was close to my heart because I used to go to the BU campus location ALL the time.

Dave and I have friends visiting from Chicago coming in after work so I am not sure that I’ll have time to fit in a workout. Fall = pumpkin everything for me. So it only seemed natural that I’d find a homemade pumpkin syrup for my coffee! I found this recipe on Savvy Eats and it’s super easy to make so if you are a pumpkin addict like me, you should try it! I might play with the proportions a little bit next time to get a little more pumpkin flavor, but over all it’s pretty darn good!
