I mentioned a month ago how I was getting into minimalist running. I have been running pretty consistently for about 30 minutes each time I run. My calves have been doing better and my pace has been improving slightly each time.
The last time I went to my PT at the Spaulding National Running Center for a check-in, he said I could start to increase my distance, run two days in a row and include speed work. This would of course all be in moderation and not all at once. For example, if I did a longer run I wouldn’t do speed work and I’d run speed work on a shorter run day.
This news was bittersweet.
