I was asked to be a member of the New Balance Reach the Beach (RTB) Ragnar Relay team last year. Unfortunately, I had to pass on the opportunity because my hips and legs were not ready for the miles.
I was excited that I was asked again this year and here are the 3 reasons why:
- I still have a daily hip soreness, but my hips have not been getting worse or hurting more when running/working out.
- I have been good about running consistently.
- After my gait analysis and running form revamped, I am currently running in the New Balance Minimus Zero v2 and love them!
For those reasons, I said “yes” to joining the team! Our team finished in 32:33:42 with a 9:42 overall pace!
