I haven’t been blogging much about fitness lately, but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been working out. So I thought I’d share with you what my workout schedule is like lately.
My main squeeze lately has been BTone Fitness. I rarely like to pay full price for class packages, but I had to make an exception. After my 8 classes in 30 “Mother’s Day” deal that I purchased was up, I just couldn’t help but feel like something was missing from my life. I invested in another 8 classes in 30 days pack. Because of BTone, I am seeing results and I don’t want to stop this progress. And despite the fact that I’m feeling stronger, the classes still whoop my butt.
If I’m not at BTone, I am trying to get some running in. My hips failed to get through half marathon training so I need to work on building up a base. I haven’t been running more than 4 miles but I’m okay with that. I am sticking with the future running goals I set for myself. I may also look into the National Running Center to get my gait analyzed and some treatment there. For now-wish me luck as I am running the Corporate Challenge tonight!
I haven’t been spinning as much as I would like to, but thanks to some deals I have purchased a while ago, but I have still been going at least once every other week. I am also trying to figure out when I want to try to start to take on becoming an instructor for a class. I keep making excuses on why I don’t have enough time to, but I think I just need to suck it up and give it a go this fall if I can.
My hips still have some discomfort if I’m sitting for too long or run too fast/too far. I am going to keep with working out as I am, but be mindful of my miles and speed. I also need to incorporate some more yoga in my life!
