There are so many opportunities to participate in either special or FREE fitness activities in the Boston area. I’d love to share them with you! If you know of any, let me know and I can add it to the list!

Ahh thanks for updating for the new year! I've been following you on twitter but finally just made it onto your blog and it is fantastic! I'm not much of a runner but as I was brushing my teeth this morning, I literally thought to myself "hmm maybe I'll try a half marathon this year?" And then bam – stumbled onto your blog. It was meant to be haha. I'm actually in the Boston area and I'm Korean! (although I consider myself very white – and I have attended and worked at a camp for Korean American adoptees before so it's also quite an interesting coincidence that you're Korean adopted). Maybe I'll see you around one of these fitness events this year!
Absolutely no problem! Let me know if you see of any other new events!
I'm heading to the Pilates bootcamp this Saturday! You should go!
You should totally run a half marathon!! I haven't picked my first one back from injury…but maybe you can do that one too! It's always fun to have someone you know there to get amped up with! I didn't start running until 2009 and that was my first marathon. Since then, I've become an addicted!
We should meet up sometime for Korean food or something!!! My other friend is adopted from Korean too and it was fun to go get some of the food together! Just sayin….

Yay Korean food! I miss having it so often whenever
I'm back home in NJ. Allston is so far away from downtown
Boston! Also, Athleta has a calendar of free yoga/pilates classes
and workshops held at their store on Newbury st. on their website
if you want to check it out and post it up on here!
I saw that! I've been trying to figure out if I want to put the full calendar or link-haha what debate!
I am hoping to attend their Pilates class next Thursday!!
Hey! If you're interested, I have a code to try the Bar Method on Newbury st. for $10 for first time clients. I purchased the deal and I have yet to use it so if you want to get it and go with me let me know! I'm still debating about pure barre. $23 for one class is a big commitment! Lol. And let me know what other deals you're trying out. I would definitely try it all with you! (I'm a poor grad student so I'm trying to be super cheap and not join a gym! I would love to try HealthWorks sometime though. Any deals you would know of with Healthworks?
Yes! Do you want to try to go in February? Then I can make some headway on these other deals I have first!
Oh believe me I know the on a budget deal! Dave is still in school too so we are always trying to find some ways to save! I have a free day pass for a first time Healthworks client! I can send it to you!
Yay! I'm excited to have a fitness buddy. Nobody else understands why I love fitness so much and make time to do it, especially since it takes away from "studying" time. It's just so hard to explain the rush and passion! My e-mail is sycha221@gmail.com and/or you can facebook me!
